Welcome
Welcome to Capriccio, Tara-Chan's mp3 rotation site. Rotation occurs monthly, and it has songs TC likes at the moment and wants to share with others. TC prefers instrumentals that ranges from Classical to New Age to Soundtracks. She also likes Oldies, Japanese, and random English songs. Her tastes are quite eclectic, really, so she welcomes you to expand your musical tastes. However, she will not accept requests; this will only give her a headache.

Updates and News
February 1, 2010: Happy Crappytine's Month, everyone! I didn't really put much lovey-dovey songs up here, except for one. Here are seven eight songs for you guys to enjoy. See you next month for Capriccio's 5th Birthday. I haven't really figured out what I'm going to do, but I'll figure something out! Please continue to comment! I like comments! (See previous rotations.)
About
P // What
Capriccio: A quick, improvisational, spirited piece of music. (Original definition from here.)

Layout features characters from a great text-adventure game series called Gyakuten Saiban or Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. TC has been abducted by this game series, and when she found these musical themed images from this series... *gasps* inspiration has hit!

MP // Where
Images from Court Records. Manipulated in PSP9 and Photoshop7. Coded in Notepad. Uploaded via CuteFTP.

MF // When
Will rotate songs whenever the heck TC feels like it. In other words, beginning of each month.

F // How
Click on the link and the download should automatically begins. If it doesn't, then... er TC doesn't know what you need to do.

After the download completes, get an unzipping programme such as IZarc. Unzip and enjoy!

FF // DISCLAIMERS
TC is not here to try to rip anyone off. She just want others to listen to the variety of music she loves to expand their musical taste.

Therefore, MP3s are for sampling purposes. Delete it within 24 hours unless you have the CDs. If you do not have the CDs, then support the artists by purchasing them at Amazon, Animenation, Yesasia, Play Asia, or Game Music.

Also, TC does not list the CDs the songs are from because a lot of the songs she chooses to put up here for sampling purposes are on multiple CDs, and it would drive her insane trying to decide which CDs to "advertise." She leaves that up to the visitors to choose for themselves if they are interested in purchasing.

NO DIRECT LINKING! DOWNLOAD ONE AT A TIME!

** If you understood the little F's, M's, and P's above, Kudos to you XD.

Comment, comment, comment. Please? These comments fuel my motivation to keep this site going. It's really a shame that I'll have like 100+ downloads and only five people commenting. I like hearing feedbacks from people. It also gives me a vague idea on what I want to rotate the next month and whatnot. Please comment! They are deeply appreciated! Thank you. ^_^

Name: Adagio in G Minor [6.06 mb] [6:37]
Artist: Remo Giazotto
Language / Genre: Instrumental / 20th-century Classical
TC's Comments: I'm really confused on who actually composed this song. See, I read on Wikipedia that Giazotto composed this based off an Albinon's work, but then he says it's an original piece. I mean, I'll believe that Giazotta composed this, but . . . I dunno why he went and made it a complicated issue to say he arranged an Albinoni's work. Argh! Anyway, last month, I had Samuel Barber's "Adagio for Strings". Someone commented that they think "Adagio in G Minor" is sadder. After listening to both, I must say I'm stumped. I think both are really depressing pieces that are beautifully composed. If you liked the Barber one from last month, give this one a listen!

Name: Come On [3.34 mb] [3:39]
Artist: Eve
Language / Genre: Korean / Rock
TC's Comments: Of all the Korean rock songs out there, this one is my absolute favourite. I love the bell sounds at the beginning. The vocals. The melody. The beat. Everything about this song makes me go squee! I actually first heard this years ago when my best friend sang this at a norae bang (karaoke), and it since then stuck on me. I urge you all to give this song a try. It's really catchy and fun.

3 //
Name: Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core - Fulfilled Desire [14.7 mb] [8:47]
Artist: Ishimoto Takeharu
Language / Genre: Instrumental / Video Game Soundtrack
TC's Comments: I know this song takes the main theme from Final Fantasy VII, but it's arranged in a very pretty manner. I love it! Listening to the calms me down. Then again, I'm a sucker for orchestral pieces like this. I love medley like this. I love the exciting, epic sounding melody in 2:25. Guh. Then hearing the battle theme, Aerith's theme in guitar . . . very lovely; This entire song just makes the music and video game nerd in me happy. This is definitely one of those songs I'd love to hear live. Speaking of live, I'll be going to the Distant Worlds (music from Final Fantasy) concert on February 7th. I am really excited! Final Fantasy music live in one of Seoul's awesome concert hall? I am already in heaven.

4 //
Name: Ben [2.50 mb] [2:44]
Artist: Michael Jackson
Language / Genre: English / Pop
TC's Comments: You know, I haven't heard this song until a month or so after he passed away. I wished I had heard this sooner. I had no idea Jackson had this great of a voice as a teenager. This is such a pretty song, and I think it showcases his voice very well. I admit that it's quite a sentimental piece, but it's still very mellow. But I must say, I was quite horrifed to read about how the rat was originally a killer rat of some sort in a movie . . . which I'll never want to watch.

5 //
Name: Heart of Gold [4.28 mb] [3:07]
Artist: Neil Young
Language / Genre: English / Country Rock
TC's Comments: The only other song by Neil Young I'm familiar with is "Philadelphia", which I had posted last year. It was through that song, I developed a liking towards his voice. Then one day, I was listening to this song, and I'm ended up liking it. It's catchy, got a nice rhythm, and Young's voice shines through here. And while I am nto a country fan, this song suits my palates.

6 //
Name: Taegeukgi Hwinallimyeo - Epilogue [4.99 mb] [3:38]
Artist: Lee Dong-jun
Language / Genre: Instrumental / Film Soundtrack
TC's Comments: HOMG. When I first heard this song couple of weeks ago, I was all EEEE about it because it was so pretty! The piano solo at the beginning just about killed me from its sweetness. Then came in the orchestra, and I almost flew off to Jupiter. I mean, I did watch the film years ago, but I don't remember the soundtrack affecting me that much! Then again, I was subbing when I had to show this film to the class, and I think I was distracted by the goryness of the film to really pay attention to the score. Anyway, someone mentioned that it's a rip-off of John William's Saving Private Ryan soundtrack. In a way, I can hear the resemblance, but I think it's a song that's unique and epic in its own way. That's just me, though. I'm a sucker for music like this to care about minor issues like that. Anyway, this is highly, highly recommended.

7 //
Name: I'll Be Your Love (Live) and I'll Be Your Love (Instrumental) [5.44 + 8.26 mb] [5:56 + 9:01]
Artist: Violet UK and Yoshiki
Language / Genre: English + Instrumental / Ballad
TC's Comments: I'm normally not the type to be into ballad music lately, but Violet UK's "I'll Be Your Love" will always be one of my favourites. It's a gorgeous song with nice vocals and melody line, but the best part for me is that it was composed by the ever genius Yoshiki of X Japan. I mean, really. This song is just that beautiful. Yoshiki really has a way with ballads! Also, included in the file is the orchestral version of "I'll Be Your Love". That's a song I would kill to hear live in a majestic concert hall . . . but I'll settle with the computer speakers for now. The piano! THE PIANO! GUH! Highly, highly recommended!
