![]() Welcome
Welcome to Capriccio, Tara-Chan's mp3 rotation site. Rotation occurs monthly, and it has songs TC likes at the moment and wants to share with others. TC prefers instrumentals that ranges from Classical to New Age to Soundtracks. She also likes Oldies, Japanese, and random English songs. Her tastes are quite eclectic, really, so she welcomes you to expand your musical tastes. However, she will not accept requests; this will only give her a headache.

Capriccio: A quick, improvisational, spirited piece of music. (Original definition from here.) Layout features characters from a great text-adventure game series called Gyakuten Saiban or Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. TC has been abducted by this game series, and when she found these musical themed images from this series... *gasps* inspiration has hit! MP // Where Images from Court Records. Manipulated in PSP9 and Photoshop7. Coded in Notepad. Uploaded via CuteFTP. MF // When Will rotate songs whenever the heck TC feels like it. In other words, beginning of each month. F // How Click on the link and the download should automatically begins. If it doesn't, then... er TC doesn't know what you need to do. After the download completes, get an unzipping programme such as IZarc. Unzip and enjoy! FF // DISCLAIMERS TC is not here to try to rip anyone off. She just want others to listen to the variety of music she loves to expand their musical taste. Therefore, MP3s are for sampling purposes. Delete it within 24 hours unless you have the CDs. If you do not have the CDs, then support the artists by purchasing them at Amazon, Animenation, Yesasia, Play Asia, or Game Music. Also, TC does not list the CDs the songs are from because a lot of the songs she chooses to put up here for sampling purposes are on multiple CDs, and it would drive her insane trying to decide which CDs to "advertise." She leaves that up to the visitors to choose for themselves if they are interested in purchasing. NO DIRECT LINKING! DOWNLOAD ONE AT A TIME! ** If you understood the little F's, M's, and P's above, Kudos to you XD. Downloads
Comment, comment, comment. Please? These comments fuel my motivation to keep this site going. It's really a shame that I'll have like 100+ downloads and only five people commenting. I like hearing feedbacks from people. It also gives me a vague idea on what I want to rotate the next month and whatnot. Please comment! They are deeply appreciated! Thank you. ^_^
1 // Name: Cantata no. 140, Wachet auf ruft uns die Stimme (Sleepers Wake), First movement 'E' Flat [5.57 mb] [6:05] Artist: Johann Sebastian Bach Language / Genre: German Improvisation? / Classical Baroque TC's Comments: Last month, I had put up the fourth movement. Now here's the first movement. The beginning orchestra sections sounds really familiar . . . I want to say that they featured that part in Kyo Kara Maou, but I'm not 100% sure, and I am not going to rewatch the earlier episodes to see if they did play it. Anyway, this piece is really beautiful. The orchestra starts but then the choir joins in soon, and everything blends in nicely. The two part complement each other really well. Actually, the two, when combined, give off a powerful effect. It sends shivers down my spine, literally. Like I've always said, I'm not a choir fan, but this is a piece that definitely needs a choir to go along with it. Give this Baroque piece, yet another Bach's works, a try! 2 // Name: Brassed Off - William Tell Overture, Finale [3.14 mb] [3:26] Artist: Grimethorpe Colliery Band/Gioachino Rossini Language / Genre: Instrumental / Classical Romantic Opera TC's Comments: Giddy-yup, giddy-yup, giddy-yup-yup-yup . . . That's what I start saying whenever I hear this song. This is such a familiar sounding song that I'm sure everyone has at least heard it once in their life. This is one of those songs you hear all the time (at least I do), and people never know what it's called! Well this is done by a brass band, and this was played in the movie, Brassed Off. This was performed in Royal Albert Hall, and it is such an exciting piece. I love how it is fast-paced, and the fact that this was just a brass band . . . I want to go gallop on a horse now. 3 // Name: You're the Inspiration [5.61 mb] [3:48] Artist: Chicago Language / Genre: English / 1980s Adult Contemporary/Ballad TC's Comments: I blame Elite Beat Agents, a Nintendo DS game for making me addicted to this song. I played and listened to the music once, and it just made me go GUH -- I LIKE THIS SONG. It is kind of weird that I ended up liking this song, though, since I haven't really cared much for ballad-ish type songs in a while, but it did. Actually, I think the lyrics is on the corny side, but the melody is just really pretty and catchy. Now I want to go play this song on the game. Oi. Addiction comes in more than one form, I think. 4 // Name: Olympic Fanfare and Theme (with Bugler's Dream) [6.18 mb] [4:30] Artist: John Williams Language / Genre: Instrumental / Modern Classical TC's Comments: To commemorate the 2008 Summer Olympics, here's a song that I was only introduced just this past May. X_X;; Yes, I can be slow in catching up with stuff. But anyway, this song was performed at the high school band concert, where Concert or Advanced Band performed this. I was encaptivated by the song, so now I want to share this. This version has the "Bugler's Dream", the so-called Olympic theme, playing at the beginning before William's piece. I love it. It's filled with so much energy. I only wished I had been alive in 1984 to hear the original piece being performed at the opening ceremony. Guh. Anyway, this is highly recommended. Give it a go! 5 // Name: Junjou Romantica - Kimi = Hana [6.61 mb] [4:48] Artist: Pigstar Language / Genre: Japanese / Anime OST TC's Comments: I've been watching the this anime series. This song happens to be the opening theme song. Let's just say this song is just so addicting and so catchy, that I ended up buying the single album when I went to Japan. I love this anime. I love the theme song. I love everything about it. It's so upbeat, so fun! Plus the singer's voice is really nice. Sounds really sexy and everything. GUH. I do not regret paying about $12.60 for a cd with four tracks to get this song. I do not at all. XD *listens to this song over and over again* 6 // Name: Life in Mono [5.51 mb] [3:47] Artist: Mono Language / Genre: English / 1990s Alternative TC's Comments: About a year or so ago, my friend and I would go to karaoke sometimes. She one time chose to sing this song, and I have to say I sucked into this song. Something about this song just pulls the listener in. It has this sombre and sad atmosphere, and it happens to be quite repetitive with the "doo doo doo" part, but it fits the song. I read that this song was featured in the film Great Expectations. I haven't seen this movie or anything to really comment on it . . . but anyway. This song is really interesting. It's almost quite haunting when one listens to it, but it's really a beautiful but simple song. 7 // Name: Stars and Stripes Forever [3.25 mb] [3:33] Artist: The United States Army Field Band/John Philip Sousa Language / Genre: English / March Music TC's Comments: I admit that I am not very patriotic with my country. However, this time, I remembered that Fourth of July is coming up, so I decided to stick up one patriotic song to commemorate the holiday. This song. Unfortunately, now when I hear this song, I think of that scene in Mr. Holland's Opus, where the drummer guy could not keep up . . . but anyway. This is a famous Sousa piece. Very marchy, very patriotic, and oh! There's a choir in the middle of it, too. To be honest, until I heard this variation, I had no idea this song had lyrics, but it does. O_o;; Anyway, hope everyone has a fabulous Fourth of July if you're a US citizen or if you're not! Doesn't matter! Enjoy the song. Content Management Powered by CuteNews
